The Shell Recharge Card is intended for private charging sessions without reimbursement by your employer. After activating the card in the Shell App, you can register it in the 50five e-mobility app. You can then also use the card for the free charging function at your own home charging station.

Request a new charging card in 4 steps

1. Download the Shell App 

Download the official Shell App to your smartphone.

2. Order the Shell Recharge Card

Request your Shell Recharge Card directly via the Shell App. Delivery usually takes no more than 5 working days.

3. Activate the card in the Shell App

Once you have received the card, you must first activate it in the Shell App. This step is required before you can add the card to the 50five App.

4. Add the card to the 50five App

After activation, you can register the Shell Recharge Card in the 50five e-mobility app. This activates the free charging function for your home charging station.

When is this charging card the right choice?

The Shell Recharge Card is suitable if you charge your vehicle privately and do not require reimbursement of charging costs through your employer. You can use the card both for charging at your own home charging station and for public charging sessions within the Shell roaming network.
