Welcome to 50five!

More information about your switch from Coolblue to 50five

We are pleased to welcome you as a customer at 50five in the course of April-May! If you are a customer of Coolblue, you have recently received an email from us. Please note: this is not yet your welcome email, so your charging point has not yet been migrated.

Frequently asked questions

What can you expect?

In April–May 2026, we will transfer your charging station to 50five’s charging management system. You do not need to do anything in advance. After the transfer, you can contact us for service, maintenance, and warranty.

What will change?

We will take over the services from Coolblue. The warranty, terms, and any service contracts will now be handled by 50five. Your subscriptions and tariffs will also be transferred. Please note: your charging history, transactions, and invoices will not be transferred. You can still view these in your Coolblue environment until July 1, 2026.

How do you know if the transfer was successful?

As soon as your charging station has been successfully transferred to 50five’s charging management system, you will receive a welcome email. In this email, we explain how to use the 50five online charging management system, the 50five e‑mobility app, and how to add your charging card.

When will my charging station be transferred from Coolblue Energie to 50five?

The transition is scheduled to start in May and we expect it to be completed for everyone by the end of May. Your charging station will therefore be transferred sometime after May 1. You will receive an SMS from Coolblue approximately one day before the transfer, on the day itself, and after your charging station has been transferred. You will then receive a welcome email from 50five with further instructions. Please also check your spam folder.

Which charging cards can I use for home charging reimbursement and are supported in the 50five e‑mobility app?

The following charging cards can be used for home charging reimbursement and are supported in the 50five app:

  • 50five charging card (NL-505)
  • Shell Recharge & Shell Fleet Card
  • Travelcard / Plugsurfing (NL-TCE + BE-TCE)
  • MultiTankCard (NL-MTE + NL-MTC)
  • Arval Energy Card (NL-AVL)
  • Deftpower (NL-ATH)

I have a charging subscription with Coolblue. From when will this be taken over by 50five?

50five will take over the charging subscription starting in May 2026. This means that you will continue to pay for your charging subscription via Coolblue up to and including April 2026. From May 2026 onwards, you will receive the invoice from 50five.

I have two accounts: an Owner and a Payer account. Why is that?

A Payer is not always the same person or organization as the Owner (the owner and recipient of charging transactions). Only one set of payment details can be linked to each account. It is not possible to add multiple bank accounts to a single account. That is why we create two separate accounts when: (1) the payer of the subscription and (2) the recipient of the charging transactions are not the same. These accounts have already been set up for you. Do both accounts use the same email address? Then you can recognize the business account by the text -business after the username.

Why do I have to link charging cards myself?

Not all charging cards are supported or still active. By linking a supported card yourself via the 50five app, you can also immediately set a tariff. This ensures that:

  • the card is active
  • the card belongs to the correct person
  • and the card is correctly linked to the right charging station

This prevents errors and delays in processing charging sessions.

I had a charging schedule/charging profile set up with Coolblue. Has this been transferred?

At the moment, charging schedules and grid-aware charging are temporarily deactivated. This functionality is not yet available in the 50five app. We are currently working on a solution so that you can soon set and use charging schedules and grid-aware charging again. As soon as more information becomes available, we will of course inform you.

Are you currently experiencing issues with charging? We recommend temporarily disabling any active charging schedules and grid-aware charging so that charging proceeds normally again. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.
