Our story

At 50five, we are fans of electric driving because it offers a greener future for all of us. Additionally, we believe that charging your EV is not just a necessity, but that the charging station is part of a sustainable future. That’s why our mission is to make e-mobility and energy management fully accessible.

50five was founded by the current management with investments from ENGIE. The small but highly dedicated team has one goal in mind: making an impact in the energy transition.

Good news from England: 50five is growing! With the acquisition of Valley Heating Services in Chesterfield, we are strengthening our team and building a nationwide installation network across England.

We install our very first charging station! With every charging station that follows, we help make the world a little greener and more sustainable. Additionally, we are starting a collaboration with Arval in Belgium to develop a strong EV proposition for the Belgian market.

50five continues to grow! In addition to England, we are expanding to Belgium and Luxembourg with the acquisition of E-Mobility Company (EMC), known as Numobi. In Antwerp, 50five now has a third location, joining 's Hertogenbosch and Chesterfield. Together, we are taking major steps in the world of e-mobility!

J.P. Morgan Asset Management joins us as a strategic partner to accelerate our growth and take our ambitions to the next level. Together, we will continue shaping the future of sustainable mobility. Meanwhile, major companies such as Arcelor Mittal, Tata Steel, G&V, and DPD have also become clients of 50five.

50five is energizing even more in 2023! With the acquisition of the e-mobility activities of Engie Energie Nederland and a new location in Zwolle, we are expanding rapidly. We also acquire NLMAB and start a groundbreaking collaboration with NXT Mobility. The result? Winning the MRAe tender and planning over 100 new fast-charging hubs in the Netherlands.

50five reaches a new milestone with more than 35.000 charging stations and strengthens its position in the e-mobility world. Through our partnership with Allsafe, we are building 50 innovative energy hubs with AC and DC chargers, energy storage, and solar panels. A smart move toward a sustainable future!
